For the first time since our inception, the San Francisco Theater Pub is taking a show outside the walls of the Cafe Royale. Join us for CANARY YELLOW by Sharif Abu-Hamdeh at the Bay One Acts Festival, opening March 6th at the Boxcar Theater in San Francisco.
The play is directed by Theater Pub veteran Sara Judge, and features Laura Ferrari and Justin Liszanckie. Sharif’s play HABIBI was named one of the 10 best plays of the year by the San Francisco Chronicle for 2010, and CANARY YELLOW is a no less moving study in the power of loss, love, and art.
The Bay One Acts Festival (or BOA), which also features plays by Theater Pub founders Bennett Fisher and Stuart Bousel, runs from March 6 – March 26, 2011. Wednesday – Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 3 pm and 7 pm and select Saturdays at 3 pm. Learn more at bayoneacts.org
